Migration Alliance to attend SGMC conference

Migration Alliance will be attending the Skilled Migration National Employer Conference next month.

Held in Melbourne on June 21, the SGMC International-run event aims to help Australian employers fill skills gaps within their operations by addressing the international recruitment cycle, including immigration visas.

Migration Alliance is an exhibitor at the event and will educate delegates throughout the day.

The conference will cover four main areas:

·         contextualising skilled migration
·         understanding immigration visa options
·         facilitating networking through workshops
·         international recruitment in action

The schedule will include a variety of keynote speakers, panel discussions and workshops, with human resource specialists, government organisations, service providers, employers and representatives of the migration industry all expected to attend.

Director of employer and government services with SGMC International Nathan Cox, who will be chairing the conference, said it has already attracted "great interest".

"With their intimate knowledge of Australia's visa landscape, registered migration agents play an important part in assisting Australian employers [to] access the skills they require and are therefore encouraged to attend this event," he explained.

The first ten Migration Alliance members to register their interest to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. will receive a special ticket price of $500 plus GST - a $250 reduction.
