Australia Day celebrations at the National Maritime Museum

Australia Day (January 26) is drawing closer and people all over the country are making plans to celebrate in style.

The Australian National Maritime Museum is the latest institute to announce its Australia Day intentions, which may be of some interest to migration agents and their clients.

This institute has arranged for a spectacular light show to take place on January 26, which will be replayed every night until mid-February.

"Waves of Migration" is described by the Australian National Maritime Museum as a "thought-provoking eight-minute animated projection" that will explore the history of migration Down Under and tell the stories of people who have made the journey to Australia.

This light show is just the icing on the cake of a fabulous day of activities, live entertainment and more.

The Australian National Maritime Museum will be completely free to visit on Australia Day, so bring the family along and get involved!

There is the option to pay $5 for a special "Australia Day Experience" ticket, however, which will give any Australian migration agents who attend the opportunity to step on board the HMAS Vampire and enjoy a host of other exclusive attractions.

So, if you're looking for a great way to celebrate the multicultural nation that is Australia, head over to Darling Harbour on January 26!
