Migration Alliance and Sydney Tafe formed a partnership two years ago.
Since then, the two organisations have been striving toward a common goal: helping migration agents in Australia.
"We have consistently worked together to increase our support to the many registered migration agents who require assistance in meeting diverse and complex client needs," explained Elizabeth Mitchell, Manager, Visa Training Benchmarks, at Sydney Tafe.
She said that Migration Alliance is "simply the best" for a number of reasons.
First, the Migration Alliance website offers informative, up-to-date resources and materials, as well as "cutting-edge commentary on the many changes inherent in the migration industry".
Ms Mitchell revealed that Sydney Tafe has often gone to Migration Alliance for advice about changes to the 457 visa program and implementation issues.
She said that Migration Alliance has always been there to answer Sydney Tafe's questions, and the many years of experience its migration agents have in this industry means they always respond with "expert knowledge".
"I regularly liaise with migration agents who share their positive stories of Migration Alliance's support, especially the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions," said Ms Mitchell.
Second, Australian migration agents enjoy working with Sydney Tafe, she explained, because they know about the organisation's partnership with Migration Alliance.
This partnership means Sydney Tafe's 457 training benchmark services are based on expert advice.
"It's a win-win for migration agents to be aligned with Sydney Tafe and Migration Alliance," announced Ms Mitchell.
"They call us the 'A' team."
The reason the partnership between Migration Alliance and Sydney Tafe has worked so well for the past two years is because the relationship between these organisations is based on a mutual interest: supporting the migration industry, and all those who operate within it.
Ms Mitchell revealed that Sydney Tafe relies on Migration Alliance to keep up with what is happening in this ever-changing sector.
She said that Migration Alliance has first-hand knowledge of this sector, knows what migration consultants need in terms of support and services, and how to deliver these efficiently and effectively.
"The tremendous support from Migration Alliance board members has also helped Sydney Tafe to become a key player in the migration industry and, ultimately, provide a better service to migration agents," concluded Ms Mitchell.
She said that Sydney Tafe looks forward to continuing as a proud partner of Migration Alliance.
