October 25 and 26 will see the final leg of the Migration Conferences 2013 being held in Hobart.
All migration agents should register their interest now at www.migration2013.com.au, because October isn't that far away!
Christopher Levingston will lead a total of ten sessions over the two-day event. These will cover recent developments in the migration sector and innovative methods for managing your business.
Mandatory sessions on Business Management, File Management, Accounts Management, and Ethics and Professional Practices will be spread out across both days.
In between these sessions will be informative presentations on immigration visas in both the family and skilled streams. Many changes have been proposed for the latter stream, so it's a good idea for Australian migration agents to come along and learn more about them.
Mr Levingston will also be discussing SkillSelect and the EOI system.
This two-day event costs just $490 to attend - a price that all migration consultants would agree is an absolute bargain!
It is being held in the Lenna of Hobart, a beautiful hotel that is located in the very heart of this bustling city.
So, when you're not attending presentations, you'll be perfected situated to step outside and explore.
There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained in Hobart. The following are just a couple.
Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery
If you've got a little down time, check out the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. There are always fresh exhibitions happening here, and it's a great way to really immerse yourself in the culture and history of Australia's second-oldest capital city.
We recommend having a look at the "Drawn with Distinction: Australian Artists" exhibition, which showcases the works of Tasmania's top twentieth-century artists.
This is also the perfect place to discover the fascinating history of Tasmania's earliest migrants and see how the times have changed!
Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens
An eight-minute drive from the Lenna of Hobart will land you in the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Stroll through the gardens, sit by the beautiful lily pond and make sure you visit the Cactus House.
There are also authentic Japanese and Chinese gardens that have been carefully constructed by landscape architects. This is just one example of how Hobart has embraced other cultures.
The Migration Conferences 2013 are being held all over Australia. If you can't make it to Hobart, check out www.migration2013.com.au and find which leg is being held nearest to you!
