'I am writing in relation to your recent Skills Assessment application to VETASSESS. Unfortunately, we have experienced an extremely high application rate over the last six months which has caused an unusual delay in our processing times. Currently an application, with all the required documentation, requires 10 to 12 weeks for completion. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience that this delay is causing you and wish to assure you that we are taking a number of steps to reduce the processing time and to ensure that our completion rates are back to normal early in 2014.
If you have an urgency request for faster processing due to a DIBP deadline (approaching significant birthday or visa expiry), please complete the Urgency Request form (SRGO5) available on our website and email to This email address is being protected from spambots. My skills assessment has been processing for 13 weeks so far and it still states 'in progress.' I am worried now my occupation will be taken off the list. Vet assess should hire more staff, they are paid to complete a service and they would expect a response in a timely manner and so do we the customer.
Vetassess must take appropriate actions to change their way of assessing. People are all expecting fast service from their and all who submitted for assessment experiencing agony. Vetassess should look closely to their time frame and if not try to at least inform the applicant about the current status. It is not a joke waiting and waiting for uncertain things. PLS. VETASSESS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. WE ALL VALUE TIME!
Dear all,
Thanks for sharing your experience with vetassess. My agent lodged my application on the 13th of January, they took the money out of my account on the 4th of June and last week they told my agent that it will take 4-6 weeks more (hopefully). I really don't know what to do.
I too applied for Vetassess Skill Assessment on June 9, 2014 but still no response from Vetassess.
I wrote a mail to vetassess and they forwarded the same to case officer. But no response has yet come from them and seven days have past. In total now I am on my 17th week. What concerns is that now they don't even bother to respond.
It's been 14 weeks to my application but vetassess just don't seem to be keen on closing it.
I had provided each and every document arranged in order and perfect labelling for easy reference.. But ... This too has taken 14 weeks now...
I think it's time you understand applicants have paid you for your services already and what repercussions this delay could make on the applicants.. In terms of keeping up their interest to migrate..
