VETASSESS delay in processing times
The following message has been received from VETASSESS today by a Migration Alliance member (RMA):
'I am writing in relation to your recent Skills Assessment application to VETASSESS. Unfortunately, we have experienced an extremely high application rate over the last six months which has caused an unusual delay in our processing times. Currently an application, with all the required documentation, requires 10 to 12 weeks for completion. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience that this delay is causing you and wish to assure you that we are taking a number of steps to reduce the processing time and to ensure that our completion rates are back to normal early in 2014.

Hi
I've lodged my application in 23rd July 2014 and still waiting for Vetassess assessment. Its over 18 weeks! They must understand the anticipation of the applicants when they say its within 10 to 12 weeks for assessment. -

Dear All,
I have lodged my application on the 22 September 2015. I was wonder if I can already apply for emergency application? When do you think its a good time to apply? Although its still early, but 10-12 weeks will take me straight to Christmas holiday, does that mean they going to delay the process again?

OMG I'm actually scared now, from reading all the comments about how slow they are. Vetassess is VERY SLOW compare to other authorities as my cousin got his IT skill assessment result within 2 weeks. This is the 5th weeks now and my 485 Visa expires in 12 of Nov. Not to say I still need to have one month leverage for Expression of Interest. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

i have applied on 27th of sep 2016 bt till now no outcum.plz tell me if i need to wait or call dem for the delay.i also heard tat they call us or the employer to investigate.is it mandatory that they may inquire.
