Feedback on DIBP's new ImmiAccount

Here is some important FEEDBACK about the New ImmiAccount and some problems that have been shared with Migration Alliance this morning from one of our members:

'1.       None of the Correspondence from Case Officers are showing up

2.       Grant letter link is there, but cannot view any of the Grant Letters

3.       Applications that are Finalised are showing as “In Progress”. In my case, examples are the following TRNs: EGNU1XXXXX, EGNTXXXXX and EGNSXXXXX.

Can the status of these Applications with these TRNs, please be changed from “In Progress” to “Finalised”, as the Visas for these clients have already been granted a while ago.

4.       Online Applications lodged in 2008 and earlier, like Subclasses 176 and 475, are not showing up in the List of Applications, and my colleagues have told me, they are not able to import them either.

5.       We are not logged into  LegendCom and VEVO, when we log into ImmiAccount. Also, the LegendCom Password has not changed. I still have to use the previous LegendCom Password to Login to LegenCom. The ImmiAccount login and Password does not work in Legendcom. We were told it should all be one Login and one Password.

6.       How do we remove from view in the List of Applications, old Applications that have already been finalised a while ago?

I remember in the MIA Seminar when we spoke to you Mark, we were told that we can modify the view in the List of Applications, and have only Applications “In Progress”, “Incomplete”, or “Submitted” in view. That would make sense, as we don’t always need to look at the 100s if not 1000s of Applications that have been “Finalised”, unless we have appealed the Decision in MRT or AAT.

Also, we were told that we should be able to import Paper Applications that have been lodged as well, through ImmiAccount. But the current functionality in ImmiAccount does not allow that.

A Great thanks for making the Partner Applications Online, and applying a Common Sense approach by leaving the option for Paper Applications open.

If you can also look into making the Parent Visa Applications (currently processed in Perth) Online, that will be a great help. Parent Visa Applications are usually less complicated than Partner Visa Applications, and are all centrally processed at the Perth Parent Visa Centre. So, converting it to Online should not be as complicated as the Partner Visas. Also, the Perth Parent Visa Centre is taking almost 3 months just to acknowledge an application. They also send receipts by snail mail, and are not always even registered. Look forward to your implementing this (Parent Visa Online Filing Option) in the future.

Finally, Mark, you mentioned the Online Visa Application Option for all Student Visa Assessment Levels (only Assessment Level 1, 2 and 3 from January 2014), Onshore and Offshore, for ALL countries, like, GSM and ENS, will be available from June 2014, or by August 2014, at the latest. And that you will finally discontinue the Assessment Level 2-4 Trials. Is this still the case, and are you still proceeding with this implementation as discussed? This will also help us a lot for future Student Visa Applications.'

    Hi There

Was wondering if any one could shed light on my situation, My partner and I have applied for a subclass 309/100 offshore on April 08 2014 online with payment and all documents required attached and completed, except for his medicals. We received an automated acknowledgement letter via email on 11 April 2014, however we have not yet been assigned a case officer. Could someone please advise how long it takes to have a case officer assigned? and how long the process will be? I am a PR living here in Australia and my husband is in Samoa. Also in his Immi account it has requested he get his medicals done. Could any confirm or know if offshore online partner applications are processed in Australia or will they still be processed at the relevant Immigration offices overseas?

    Look forward to any feedback.

    Cheers

    Dear Liana,

    I am a permanent resident.

My wife has lodged her Partner migration application. We can see the payment receipt and invoice in Manage Payments page of the ImmiAccount. She has lodged her application on 25th Feb, 2014 but still I cannot sponsor her due to the error on the Critical Data Confirmation page.

Whenever I start my sponsorship application I get stuck @ page # 4, the Critical Data Confirmation page, no matter how correct my information is.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Jagdish Chaudhari

    Hi Jagdish,

Were you able to get your issue resolved. I have not submitted partner's application yet, but want to make sure if the error will be resolved after submitting Partner's application first.

    Regards,
    SJ K

Yes, I was able to get my issue resolved.
The problem with my wife's application was that, the application was submitted and payment was made but still these two things were linked some how, hence my sponsorship application was not able to find my wife's application.
I visited the migration office in Sydney and they were able to link payment and submission of my wife's application and everything went smooth.

    All the best!

Please read "two things were linked some how" as "two things were NOT linked some how"

    Hi Guys

I might be silly, but I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong...
I am currently living in Australia on a subclass 309 (defacto visa). I am have been living in Melbourne for 2 years now and my wife is Australian, and I have been told I can upgrade my visa to a subclass 100 (permanent partner/visa). Anyway, I am trying to set up my immi account but I keep getting to page 4 and I get this message "The applicant is unable to continue this application as the related application details cannot be confirmed. The applicant may wish to review the information entered in this application prior to continuing."

How can I confirm my details? The information is correct, but I cannot prove it by uploading the documents. When I go to the main page all I can do it edit, copy or delete my application. Have NO idea what to do...
Any help would be so appreciative :) Thanks

Your application for a 100 visa has already been submitted when you applied for the temporary visa. I would check your status on VEVO. If need be just call the department and have a chat. What's the rush? If in doubt engage an Agent.

Am I the only one here who filed a Visa Subclass 600? I lodged my application online, via IMMIAccount.. Haven't receive anything from them up to this moment.. No, email or calls for verification or whatsoever (denied/approved or notification regarding the delay). I applied for Australian Visa online last August 24, 2015. Can someone here tell me if they received their approved visa for more than a month after submitting application?

Hi. I am positive that my email I sent to them is correct. Because everytime I log in to my ImmiAccount I receive a notification on my email.

Your Immi email and your application email may not be the same and as such disconnects the two. Try viewing your application. Takes on average two to three weeks to process 600 Visa
