Have your Australian migration clients ever asked you to help them with information on how to move their dog to Australia or cat to Australia as part of their migration process?

I have been working as a migration agent for a long time now but have never really considered shipping a dog to Australia services for my migration clients.  Shipping a cat to Australia goes hand-in-hand with migration to Australia because so many clients need to ship a cat or dog to Australia to start their new life in Australia.

I have recently been asked by quite a few migration agents and migrants themselves which dog transport company is the best one to use.  I went about doing some research, first making contact with the main ones.  Pet Carriers International was the first company to respond and the one that I thought would be the best selection if I was going to move my two dogs.

Immigration South Australia have updated their SNOL (Skilled Nominated Occupations List) again, removing 'high demand' from the following occupations, with most now showing 'special conditions apply'.

DIAC has updated it's homepage to include the 457 visa changes which occurred since 1 July 2013.  To have a quick look see this link: http://www.immi.gov.au

Jennifer Fong, Registered Migration Agent,  just notified me that she has been to post a query through the DIAC's Agents Gateway and after completing her details and inserting her MARN onto the screen she has been provided with a popup message which is linked below and attached in the pic.  The message forces her to agree before posting her question to the Agents Gateway. 

I am wondering if Migration Alliance should create one of these kinds of messages too where DIAC case officers must go through a 'I agree' before contacting an RMA.  Terms such as:

1/ I agree that I have read the legislation and know how to interpret it before asking the RMA to do something
