No VAC (CPI) indexation or increase from 1 July 2014
It is truly amazing. The DIBP have confirmed that there will be no VAC increases from 1 July 2014.

Interestingly we have 27 days to make submissions, which is a short period of time. The due date is the 27 July 2014.
...So it's a Friday night and I am kicking back with a glass of red after a great week with Migration Alliance.
Just watched this clip (below) and so much of it strikes a chord with me.
The video starts with a news item which asks the viewer "End of the World?" and then follows with print media doing a piece on zombies. In the mean time, the background is full of digital media screens. The entire clip is a mix between Roy Lichtenstein style art pieces and street art of the modern era. Lichtenstein was famous for his works on parody and 'tongue in cheek' humour which makes this an excellent choice for the message in this video.
