Independent Review of OMARA terms of reference now live
Migration Alliance has today been informed that the web link is now live:

Interestingly we have 27 days to make submissions, which is a short period of time. The due date is the 27 July 2014.
Agents are encouraged to first read and endorse the basic proposal for an Independent Immigration Commission (IC) found here. Of course agents may have their own views on the IC but the basic concept is that we need an independent regulator (independent from the DIBP).
Reporting is due in September 2014.

That sounds like a big job...I wonder why there is such a rush...the deadline for submissions is 27 July 2014 and DIBP is ( as usual) acting as the Secretariat.
