Home Affairs Visa Application Charges (VAC) increase to well over 7%
The new instrument relating to VAC fee increases says that the increases are at 5.4%, but a Registered Migration Agent by the name of Essence Fleur D'Espoir Purcell has done the following calculations, which we agree with:
They have increased the fees by with a CPI of 2.25%, and then they apply the 5.4%.
Partner visas have actually increased by 7.75% overall.
482 visas have actually increased by 7.66% overall.
186 visas have actually increased by 7.72% overall.

not only the increase. They removed Bpay!. the application goes like an one process with payment. if no payment made or unsuccessful payment happened, you have to start the application over again to be able to approach to the payment platform, which is rediculous. I was on the payment page last evening at 5.30, and the system just went down without notified me before hand. The fee was increased by around 700 when i came back this morning. Ripping off i would say. abd ACCC needs investigate the fee charges, the high fee charged for obtaining license, which is higher than law society. The incapable of management system towards to migration agent, which resulted so many unqualified agents on the market, that misleading the clients with misconduct.
