In addition, today I received an email from Mr Darryl Goodhand, General Manager, International Health at Allianz Partners, which reads as follows:
".... also of interest considering your industry leadership role I thought I would share this (see attached) with you. This was sent to me from a team member in India. As you can see this practice, if it was substantiated, would be in breach of the education agents code of ethics
The Minister when launching these standards in 2016 said:
“Because we know that any lapse in standards, any sense of taking advantage of students, any failure of decent consumer behaviour is of course a risk not just to the one, but to all of us, to all of the providers and to the nation as a whole if we don’t uphold those best of consumer experiences”.
It is a concern if this practice suggested in the picture below is real, because it could challenge the high levels of trust and the high level of integrity our industry has with our customer base, and our international students.
Clearly, IELTS has nothing to do with this fraudulent scam in any way.
