Further to our recent published article in relation occupations flagged for removal (see https://migrationalliance.com.au/immigration-daily-news/entry/2018-05-skilled-occupation-list-changes-some-flagged-for-removal-on-1-july-2018.html) all States and Territories are currently in the midst of updating the State Occupation Lists.
Migration Alliance brings you a state by state summary:
New South Wales
There are no changes to the occupation list for NSW. April invitation round saw 256 places allocated to 190 visas and 95 places to subclass 489 visas.
Queensland
Skilled Occupation list for QLD was updated in May with the following occupations added:
272413 - Translator
254424 - Registered Nurse (Surgical)
Victoria
State immigration remains suspended until further notice. For the month of April, VIC issued 278 nominations for subclass 190 visa. No invitations were issued for subclass 489 visa.
South Australia
State Occupation list for South Australia has been updated which includes addition of the following occupations
272413 - Translator
321212 - Diesel Motor Mechanics
262113 - Systems Administrator
313113 - Web Administrator
Tasmania
The following occupations are now removed from the state list:
251513 - Retail Pharmacist - now removed from list
251511 - Hospital Pharmacist - now removed from list
Northern Territory
There are no changes to the occupation list for NT. NT issued 14 190 visa nominations and 49 invitations for subclass 489 visa.
Australian Capital Territory
There are no changes to the occupation list for ACT. ACT issued 100 190 visa nominations and 0 invitations for subclass 489 visa.
Western Australia
Migration Services has moved to 1 Prospect Place, West Perth. All other contact details remain the same.
Applicants are encouraged to visit relevant state and territory government website for specific state requirement as well as updates.

Please note the QLD State Skilled Occupation List is not formally updated yet. The website advises it would be published in July 2018.
