Abel Prasad jailed for producing fake work visas
Businessman who produced fake work visa jailed for nearly two years
A "narcissistic" businessman who defrauded the Commonwealth and faked a work visa for a migrant has been jailed for at least one year and 10 months.
Abel Kalpi Nand Prasad, 29, pleaded guilty to four Commonwealth fraud charges.
The court heard he also faked a work visa for an Indian citizen who had been living in Australia on a student visa.
"You identified yourself as an immigration agent and told him he would need to pay you $25,000," Judge Julie McIntyre said.
The court heard when the Immigration Department refused to grant the visa, Prasad faked the document and told the Indian man that his visa had been approved.
Migration Alliance can confirm that just today, Liana Allan, the Convenor of Migration Alliance, sent the NSW Police fresh evidence from a new witness regarding other crimes committed by Mr Prasad.
Liana Allan was previously on ABC's 7:30 Report regarding Mr Prasad.
It is our hope that charges against Mr Prasad keep stacking up and that jail time becomes cumulative.

i know that the Able Prasad had a partner who was registered as a Lawyer and was doing all his dirty work at his Sussex Street Office back then. His name was lucky. After Able Parasad stole from many victims. Lucky left and started doing the semi bogus immigration on cash by himself . He is still doing all semi bogus immigration ( specially Chinese Students) with fake documentation. He is from Africa ( Nigeria ?) and till now has escaped the long arm of the law, still active as a deceptive fraudulent Australian Immigration Lawyer.

This piece of scum deserves what he gets, he should not be able to own run or manage a business again. He ripped me off about $3000, not a huge amount is scheme of things, but plenty for a sole trader with a family. And yes he is running from bikies, his business partner in Adelaide was a bikie and he ripped him off, so he will never really be safe again.

I’ve had the displeasure of meeting this person while he was serving time in the protection part of a low to medium security jail. And let me tell you he will claim to be a changed person but he has caused countless problems for me and my family and will manipulate you in any form! DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN. He is a massive LIAR, and FRAUDSTER. He will claim to be a follower of god but do not be deceived! This man is without a doubt the biggest narcissistic sociopath I’ve ever come across. He will lie about the smallest most irrelevant detail to somehow make himself look like some kind of hero. He will claim he can fix things for you through “connections” and his money. He thinks he is some kind of famous person. It’s all shit and trust me he has not changed since coming out. Don’t give this man a chance he will ruin you emotionally and probably financially lol. He should be thrown back in jail but even then the other prisoners shouldn’t have to deal with such a low life. Abel prasad is a SNAKE and other prisoners hated him just as much as we all do! He was not liked in the slightest! Rant over.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.
I met this evil little man who talked big but was just a con man.
It is a pity that so many people were taken in by his lies, he leaves behind the debri of hundreds of destroyed lives.
I think the sentence is manifestly inadequate and that DPP should appeal the sentence to the Court of Criminal Appeal.
