Having worked in Community Legal Centres and with legal aid for some 10 years, this is just the latest in a MASSIVE waste of money.
Community Legal Education is already funded to CLC's - it's a core part of their job they continue to fail at. Are these CLC lawyers even trained in employment or immigration law?
What happens when they advise their client to report the employer for underpaying them? The Department cancels their visa because they gave incorrect, false and information and very possibly bogus documents....
Can't we do better when it comes to our politicians? Can't we find anyone who thinks first?
