Ban unregistered immigration agents - my submission to the Minister
By law, any person that gives immigration advice about Australia should be Registered with the Office of the MARA.
This includes people giving Australian immigration advice from India, China, Europe, or anywhere else in the world.
Only Agents Registered with the Office of the MARA should be able to give immigration advice, because only Registered Migration Agents have demonstrated sound knowledge in Australian Immigration Law and Practice.
There is no such thing as an unregistered medical practitioner, so much the same as they are dealing with people's lives, so are Registered Migration Agents.
Unregistered immigration practice ruins lives.
Unregistered education agents who provide immigration advice should NOT be exempt from registration.
Australia should follow the lead set by Canada and New Zealand and cease to accept applications from persons who are not Registered Migration Agents.

Thursday, 10 December 2020there is one unregistered agent and youtuber called Meta Care Tribe who is based in Australia and from different field.She keeps on making videos related to different visas and migration pathways.Also she arranged live in sessions to answer visa and PR related queries.Like this little knowledge people spoiled our migration industry.No other profession has this issue.Whats the use of studying one year specialised course and then headache of capstone with 10 percent success rate when anyone with little knowledge can give migration advice and gain rewards in any form. So, govt itself is confuse regarding our industry either make it tough and restrict the market for successful candidates or open field for everyone..whats the use of making licencing procedure so tough when you cant restrict the industry and generate scope for licenced agents.

There should also ban companies or businesses that its directors or owners are not even a registered migration agent but employ registered MA or subcontract out their work to MA.
