NSW runs the skilled nominated migration (190) program in order to attract highly skilled people in a range of occupations to contribute to NSW skills needs. NSW's position as an appealing destination for skilled migrants is confirmed beyond doubt by the significant demand shown for NSW nomination for the 190 Visa.
The purpose of the NSW skilled visa program is to help drive economic growth, competitiveness and productivity in NSW. Through the 190 program we aim to nominate highly skilled migrants whose occupational skills are needed in NSW.
NSW selects and invites candidates to apply for NSW nomination. Candidates are selected from the Department of Home Affairs SkillSelect database. NSW Department of Industry selects and invites the highest ranking candidates who meet the NSW nomination criteria in eligible occupations on an ongoing basis. Invitations are not guaranteed.
Some occupations on the NSW 190 Priority Occupation List (NSW 190 List) are now subject to an additional requirement for nomination by NSW.
The additional requirement for these occupations is to be living in NSW, and to have been employed in NSW for at least one year, in the nominated occupation.
These occupations are indicated on the NSW 190 Priority Skilled Occupation List.
To be considered for NSW selection, candidates must meet minimum eligibility requirements including:

Hi, I applied for 190 VIC EOI with 85 points under 351112 on 29 July 2019 and applied for state nomination on 30th July 2019. I have also provided the required job offer from Victoria. I have been living In NSW & working in the same occupation code for over 2 years. Can you please provide your expert advice on when likely will I be getting an invite.
Hi, I have 75 points currently with "statistician" which is non pro-rata occupations. I just submitted EOI for 189 visa on 22 AUG 19. I submitted for NSW 190 visa state nominee too.
How many chances do i have to be invited?
1- Will i be invited with 75 points in 189 visa?
2- Will i be invited for 190 visa state nominee with 75 points?
How many chances do i have?
I received NSW Pre-invite on 19/09/2019 and i have submitted my application. I am now waiting for the final invite. So my question is, can i update my EOI while waiting for the final invite? The reason is, the work experience i marked as relevant ends 22/09/2019. Will it be a problem if i update the work experience end date in my EOI? Although my points won't be changing.
I will appreciate your kind response. Thanks
