This Labour State has shown from day one that foreigners are not welcome to work in this state. They have gone all the way to make it harder for students and highly skilled applicants to find a job in WA. Every other state would welcome a subclass 132 but not in WA. It was a good stance to come out and say jobs for the locals but every business knew the locals are lazy and do not want to put in the hard yard. The statistic shows WA has the highest unemployment rate in the country in 2018.

Some of these rules are plain silly. How does age matter for the business investor who is willing to invest a million and provide employment? Even New Zealand has a realistic age limit of 65 years for an Investor Visa whereas in WA and SA it is just 55 years! The founder of PayPal opted for PR in New Zealand. Canada is more welcoming. Australia will never learn.
