JSCM Hansard - Efficacy of current regulation of Australian migration agents by Office of the Commonwealth Ombudman witnesses

CONDITIONS OF DISTRIBUTION This is an uncorrected proof of evidence taken before the committee. It is made available under the condition that it is recognised as such.

The following persons have been witnesses:

BIGIRIMANA, Ms Melita, Assistant Director, Overseas Students Ombudsman Team, Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman

HINCHCLIFFE, Ms Jaala, Acting Commonwealth Ombudsman, Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman

WALSH, Mr Dermot, Senior Assistant Ombudsman, Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman

The questions asked seem to be geared towards education agents rather than migration agents.  Do the questions from the panel meet the objectives of the enquiry?  Isn't this supposed to be about the regulation of migration agents, not the education sector?
