Ross Ahmadzai, immigration lawyer and General Manager of Visacorp, has been caught up in the Barcelona terrorist attack and has reported in as SAFE.
Unfortunately the attack occurred right outside the Hotel Catolonia, where Ross is staying.
Some of you will remember that Ross has presented on 457 visas and TSS visas at the two most recent LTA conferences, both at Wesley Centre and Westpac's Arena in Sydney. (See pic)
Ross has reported in to Liana Allan that he is extremely shaken at the moment, and is feeling alone and very far from home on what is supposed to be his long-awaited European summer vacation.

We can only imagine what Ross has had to look at today.
Barcelona remains in lockdown with Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop urging Australian travellers to follow instructions from police.
"My advice to any Australians in the area would be to ensure that they stay in their hotels, abide by any directions by local authorities and obviously listen to local media reports," she said. "But contact our consular officials if they need support and help."
Ross remains in his hotel.
Good to know he is safe. Hope he is able to enjoy the rest of his holiday.
