Tuesday, 15 March 20161. Have you received my application/correspondence?
New applications will be formally acknowledged by mail or email within 7 working days of receipt of the application.
· If you have submitted documents online you should access your ImmiAccount to track your application.
· If submitting documents by post you should send them by registered mail, as we do not provide confirmation of receipt of any other documents.

Also, on the right hand side of the immiaccount of the application, there is an option of “View application mailbox” which all DIBP correspondences including acknowledgement letter will be able to be downloaded. -

It has now been resolved after being on the phone for most of the morning. Here is the feedback that I received as I think there might be more people in a similar situation:
Good afternoon,
Thank you for your recent contact with the Department.
The issue was that your application had not successfully lodged in the system. This has been resolved and you should have now have received your Letter of Acknowledgement and Bridging Visa Grant notification via email

Hi there,
I have received the same error message for an Application for a Stage 1 - Partner visa (820/801) which in fact prevents me to continue to the next page. The error message is exactly the same and happened today.
