In trade figures released on Wednesday February 3^rd 2016, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) said total spending by international students in Australia – including course fees, accommodation, living expenses and recreation – was $19.2 billion in 2015, up from $17 billion the previous year.

These trade figures by the ABS are supported by research findings conducted by an international market and industry research organisation – IBIS World. Their report showed that revenue in the university and other higher education industry is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 4.6% over five years from 2015-16, to reach $29.6 billion by 2021.

“International student enrolments grew by 8.1% in 2014, driven by preferable student visa arrangements and a depreciation of the Australian dollar,” said IBIS World senior industry analyst Spencer Little.

This is excellent news for the Australian migration industry as it indicates a very likely need for migration advice and professional services. Perhaps it is now more worthwhile to look into promoting your Graduate visa migration services?
