Breaking Australian immigration news brought to you by Migration Alliance and associated bloggers.
The DIBP would like to improve its visa processing times by increasing the number of assessment-ready (decision-ready) visa applications. These are often called DRCs or complete applications with required supporting documents included in the initial application.
The DIBP would like to provide recommendations and tools that will be of benefit to clients, RMAs and DIBP's visa processing sections.
Migration Agents are in a unique position to have their say and explain that 'decision ready applications' (DRCs) need to be given priority going forward.
We ask all Migration Alliance members to complete the survey. Responses are anonymous and take about 7 mins.
Cutoff date for responses: 11 February 2015.

Colin..yes, frustrating... that's because you are forced to RANK your answers for the first part....I just tested the survey. For a survey to work properly it really needs to collect the agent's ID and MARN....and use a better survey tool than SURVEY MONKEY. Just sayin'! Try again and make sure you rank your first two from 1-5.

Not sure how reliable these survey results will be. I was just able to complete it twice. I also notice that the link is open to the public and that the information provided isn't actually going to the DIBP directly (warning messages tells you this):
Please be aware of the privacy, security and recordkeeping issues associated with using SurveyMonkey. Prior to transferring data to the secure DIBP website, SurveyMonkey data is held overseas.
I guess that why the public service is controlling it....and not private enterprise. If it was done by a private company it would be done professionally and collect valid data.
I can't progress past Q5. I answer the questions and click next, but then it says that I haven't answered the questions
