I will be spending a lot more of my time on the DIBP Facebook page now, mainly advising the public about the existence of the Office of the MARA and the use of Registered Migration Agents.  

The DIBP provide generic and quite frankly, very poor advice and assistance to the general public via the Facebook page.  I believe the public deserve to know about the existence of RMAs and also the existence of the Office of the MARA.  If the Office of the MARA aren't on there promoting themselves then MA will do it for them, which in turn benefits and promotes the great work we do.

So...onto the Skilled Occupations List (SOL), a Registered Migration Agent and member of Migration Alliance has today alerted MA to the fact that DIBP intend to release a new SOL soon.

The agent who sent me the information today expressed that they were very disappointed that the DIBP provided information to the public on Facebook about pending releases.  I recommend that RMAs descend on the page and continue to promote RMAs, the profession and the work that we do.  There are lots of potential clients on there asking difficult questions.  Get on there and grab yourself some business.
