RDA Southern Inland have updated their occupations list on their website.

Although RDA has updated the occupation list, they have not announced anything about applications for their state nomination program 2019-2020. The exact start date of the new migration program has not yet been confirmed.

Below are some features of the new occupations list:

• Registered Nurse (all specialisations), and Midwife require at least 2 years experience to be eligible
• Chef, Cook, and Tradespersons occupations have no extra conditions imposed for the state nomination.

Northern Inland RDA has announced on their website that they will release the occupations list for their migration program 2019-20, today, 3rd of July.

Northern Inland RDA has also advised that they will not discuss anything about the occupations list until it goes live on their website.  It is advised that the applicants wait for the occupations list to go live on the website and then contact Northern Inland RDA if there are any further questions. Migration Alliance will release further news on this here on this website when it becomes available.

Northern Inland RDA will start accepting applications for the migration program 2019-2020 from today, 3rd July 2019.

The RDA Central West region has announced that they are currently closed for applications in Subclass 489 (Skilled Nominated Visas).  RDA Central West will publish a new visa occupations list in early August 2019. 

RDA Central West processing dates for round one will be adhered to:
- Registration open 5th August, and closes on 9th August
- Full applications will be required within 7 days following an "Invitation to Apply"
- RDA Central West referrals close on 9th September

RDA Riverina in regional NSW has announced the imminent release of their occupations list.  RDA Riverina is waiting for the approval from the state government for the re-opening of the occupations. Migration Alliance will provide an update here once the occupations list opens.

TRA has published the following news on their website regarding the delays in processing times for migration skills assessments.  This is due to the increase in the number of applications. The processing of applications is taking more than 90 days (3 months). 

TRA urges all the applicants, not to contact them as all the applications are being processed in the order they are received. TRA also advises applicants to allow them time of up to 120 days before contacting them in regards to the update on the status of the application.
