Don't forget to nominate in the MIA elections

Nominate now:

Migration Alliance will be supporting nominees who would like to run on our 'United Profession' ticket in the MIA election.  It is not important whether you advise us right now whether you want to be part of the 'United Profession' ticket.  What is important right now, is to get your nomination forms in immediately and without delay.

The nomination form is below:

Election-Nomination-Form-MIA.pdf

Nominations opened on 15 September 2015 and must reach the Returning Officer at her office or postal address, as shown below, no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday 6 October 2015.
Nominations cannot be withdrawn after this time.

As a candidate you will receive an acknowledgment that your nomination form has been lodged. It is your responsibility to ensure that your nomination is received by the returning Officer before nominations close.

Prospective candidates and nominators should verify their financial status and any other qualifications required by the Organisation’s rules prior to lodging nominations.

A nomination should be accompanied by a photograph and a nominee may furnish up to 150 words setting out the nominee’s qualifications, experience and policy statements. However the board of the organisation may in its absolute discretion,  amend  the  statement  to  protect  the  institute’s  interests, including  the  reputation  of  the Institute  and  its Directors.
