Online lodgement and VEVO currently unavailable

The following news is straight in from the DIBP to Migration Alliance:

Please note that ImmiAccount, including the Online Lodgement and VEVO services, is currently unavailable.  We are aware of this issue and are working to restore services as a matter of priority.

    Planned system maintenance

    There will be a planned system outage on Saturday 22 November 2014, from 5pm AEDT until Sunday 23 November 2014 5am AEDT (UTC +11).

    The following systems will become unavailable during the above times:

    ImmiAccount
    eLodgement (Online visa and citizenship applications)
    Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)
    LEGENDcom
    Visa pricing estimator
    My Health Declarations.

    Should you receive a 'Server 500' error message during this time, you are encouraged to try again after 5am AEDT (UTC +11), Sunday 23 November 2014.

    We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.

    System outage?

    What if I have a client who is prejudiced by these outages.

    More like an outrage.

    Doesn't DIBP have some sort of fail safe back up system?

    What is wrong with this Department?
