Tax invoices from OMARA are confirmed as genuine
Recently the Office of the MARA sent out tax invoices / receipts to agents and CPD provdiers via email.
Quite a few agents thought these emails were phishing or fake emails. I have written to the OMARA and they have confirmed that the emails are genuine:
Thank you for your email regarding recent emails from the Authority.
The Authority has recently sent tax invoices to agents that made payments from late November 2013 onwards. This was to assist with preparations for their tax returns. A separate email was sent to all registered migration agents notifying them that they may receive an email with a paid tax invoice from the Authority. These emails were genuinely sent from the Authority.

7 months for issuing the invoice - that is a great result !
RMA who fails to provide client with service statement and final bill within 7 days would be in trouble . Obviously OMARA is not ......
