Dear XXXXXXXXXX
You may be interested in the following information which is provided on the Migration Alliance website at http://migrationalliance.com.au/en/siv/significant-investor-visa-for-permanent-resident-visa-australia.html
Is a NSW Government Waratah Bond a good investment?
We cannot offer investment advice. Reports from clients have indicated to us that state / territory bonds are not good investments and do not offer good returns.
Kind regards
Kevin

It's gratifying to know that the Chief Operating Officer of the MIA is apparently concerned about the provision of "investment advice". If you look at the link you can see the following words, "Is a NSW Government Waratah Bond a good investment?"
Liana,
You're costing them money. Don't expect collegiality.
How about a blog on a single type of registration. Why should directors of non-profit organizations earning more than the average for-profit agents pay reduced fees to MARA? I see no reason for it. A registration is a registration.
I think the registration concession for not for profit or not commercial RMAs should be abolished for employees of those entities UNLESS the business is a registered CHARITY but with the additional requirement of a salary threshold of $40K in order to qualify for the concession.
My email today to Kevin Lane:
Hi Kevin
I understand you reported one of my blogs to NSW Trade and Investment.
Could you please call me next time or perhaps send me an email?
I am not sure why you think it is a good idea to report your colleagues to government. I think it is counter-productive for the profession and in my view does nothing to support the MIA, or indeed your reputation amongst your peers, or with government officials.
May I invite you to consider how we can collaborate rather than looking for ways to undermine?
Thanks and best regards
Liana J Allan
