This partnership program between TAFE Outreach, Hospitality sections of TAFE, Surry Hills Community Centre and Job Network providers, has changed the lives of many students.
TAFE NSW is an excellent example of how the funds are invested back into training or up-skilling Australians,
especially those with low socio economic status (SES).
The contributions received through 457 Training Benchmarks are used for these students with complex barriers to education and employment to build skills, vocational training and work experience that will lead to higher level study or pathways to employment.
TAFE targets this cohort and provides a supportive group environment to build confidence, social relationships, motivation, skills and goals with specialised wrap around support services tailored to individual complex needs.
