In light of Covid19 outbreak VETASSESS has released the following information concerning trades occupations:
Technical interview assessments for trade occupations – now conducted online
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, VETASSESS are now conducting Technical Interview assessments online for all non-licensed trade occupations or Pathway 2 licensed occupations.
VETASSESS will continue to accept further applications for assessments relating to trades, however, delays may be experienced due to the constraints within the current environment.
Digital Issuing of the Qualifications:
Skills Recognition for Trade Occupations was pleased to make the transition to digitally issued qualifications on August 13, 2020. The security features in this new format ensure that each qualification is a valid certified document, holds the VETASSESS digital signature and is ineligible for edit once issued. The qualification documents (qualification certificate/statement of attainment and statement of results) are now available to download in pdf format from the online portal along with the skills assessment result letter. Traditional printed copies will also continue to be issued, once staff can safely return to the office.
Updated Evidence Guide
The Evidence Guide has recently been redesigned and updated with the relevant information about the employment and training documents required for Documentary Evidence Assessment. It is available for download in pdf format here.
