ACS Skills Assessment Presentation

Australian Computer Society in partnership with Legal Training Australia participated in an online webinar addressing common questions and scenarios associated with lodging skills assessments for migration purposes.

For those who were not able to join the session, the following summary can be found below:

-        As of July 2019 ACS, has been approved by the Minister of Education as the relevant assessing authority for ICT related occupations under the Migration Regulations. The skills team assess 24 different occupation codes on the list of eligible skilled occupations as legislated by the Department of Home Affairs.

-        In terms of processing times, current average processing time is 5 weeks. Average processing time for the 2017/18 financial year was 6.8 weeks. This is almost a 2 week reduction in the average processing time of ACS Skill Assessment applications.

-        Roughly 35% of skills assessments lodged with ACS are prepared by Migration Agents, overwhelming majority are not represented by Migration Agents.  However, the approval rating is higher for the former group

-        At present, all supporting documents must be certified.  ACS is looking into streamlining the process of lodging and assessing a skills assessment process even further and announcements will be made shortly

-        A review application is in place to challenge any disputed outcomes you may have with your skills assessment result. You may also wish to change your nominated occupation (ANZSCO) or include additional work experience or qualifications to update your results.  The review process for a disputed application involves the re-assessment of all your documentation by a Senior Skills Assessor with particular focus on the comments and reasons you provide regarding the dispute.  A Review application can only be submitted within 60 days after you have received your skills assessment result letter. After the 60 day period expires, a new application is required.

-        An Appeal application is if you disagree with the result of your assessment outcome and you believe an error has been made in your skills assessment.

-        The difference between an Appeal and a Review is with an appeal you cannot submit additional documentation and the appeal fee will be refunded if your appeal is successful.

Acsrplreport.com is one of the best compared to other RPL report writing site. RPL Report writing service provider helps candidates avoid dismissal from the Australian Computer Society (ACS). We give RPL report to a wide range of personnel. We have an ideal group of expert writers, who know about the principles and provide answers as indicated by the rules provided by ACS. We are a worldwide pioneer in writing reports, and we have an endorsement pace of 99% from ACS.
The candidates identified with IT or computer background needs to set up the RPL report for a specific ANZSCO Code while applying for Australian immigration and evaluate the capability through RPL from ACS. It is critical to choose the most fitting ANZSCO code. While selecting the ANZSCO Code, candidates need to go through the job task related to the respective ANZSCO Code. ACS skill assessment criteria ought to be met, and work assignments must be connected to the experience and work understanding to get a positive result.
