Letter from an RMA to MA re OMARA

An email was received from an RMA today which sets the 'reality' tone:

"I am looking at MARA and its functions due to a client who has become somewhat of a nuisance. The complaint was dismissed by MARA.

The client since has posted several claims online, shifted his claim to another issue etc.

Point is, I as an RMA pay a lot of money to MARA (not mentioning the CPD’s, professional library etc) but I DO NOT HAVE ANY SUPPORT from MARA (beside “natural justice”) in terms of “we assist you if your client is a PITA and starts a witch-hunt against you, defames you etc”

Frankly, I am better off moving to another country and keep practising unregistered because there is nothing illegal about that and I have a lot easier life…

Where is our professional support?"

Perhaps the OMARA should re-name itself the 'Migration Agents' Regulation Authority'.
