SIV update: annualised approval rate of 648 pa
Below are the latest SIV statistics.
490 primary SIV visas have been granted as at 31 Octoer according to official data from the Department of Immigration.
The Assistant Minister for Immigration announced on 17 Nov that the 500th visa had been granted. (equating to $2.5 billion in investment inflows to Australia…or about half the Medibank IPO)
The monthly rate of approvals is now 54, which if annualised, equates to 648 approvals per year. (up from the previously rate of 39 per month).
