This conference is organised by the Global health and Society Unit, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. The  overall theme of the conference is “Toward developing national and international priorities for Migration, Health and Social wellbeing”.  The conference objectives are:

  • To summarise current evidence on Migration and Health across the globe
  • To identify context-specific policy gaps and challenges related to migration and health
  • To propose a national and international research agenda for reducing migration-related inequalities
  • To establish a platform for ongoing collaboration to profile the field of migration and health nationally and internationally

We kindly invite you to submit abstracts on all topics related to migration, social disadvantage, and health. The abstract must fit one of the following conference topics:

The target audience includes academics, researchers, administrators, policy makers, industry representatives, students and stakeholders from key government and non-government organisations (NGOs)

This conference will provide great resources on the topic as well as unlimited opportunities to network with prominent leaders in the field.

Migration Alliance is partnering with Monash University for this event. We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne, Australia in February 2015.
