Live-In Caregiver Visa Programme for Australia?
The Australian Treasury estimates that the number of Australians aged 65 and over is expected to increase rapidly, from around 2.5 million in 2002 to 6.2 million in 2042.
That is, from around 13 per cent of the population to around 25 per cent. For Australians aged 85 and over, the growth is even more rapid, from around 300,000 in 2002 to 1.1 million in 2042.
At the same time, growth in the number of people of workforce age is expected to fall from around 1.2 per cent per annum over the last decade to almost zero in forty years' time. In 2002 there were more than five people of working age to support every person aged over 65. By 2042, there will only be 2.5 people of working age supporting each person aged over 65.
On 22 November the National Disability Service conducted a Roundtable to discuss skills needs for disability service providers and NSW passed a law transferring government disability services to the non government sector.
Demand for Child Care services for children aged 0-5 in Australia has never been higher.
Live-in caregivers are people who are skilled and qualified to provide care for children, the elderly or people with disabilities in private homes without supervision. This survey examines the case for a Live-In Caregiver Programme in Australia.
A Live-In Caregiver Programme is currently operating in Canada.

Good day.
I am 53 years of age but still physically active. I am married with two (2) daughters, the eldest now in Adelaide wating for her Nurse Registration card and younger daughter now a third year HRM (Hotel and Restaurant Management ) Course.
On December 2010 I became registered nurse here in the Philippines and practiced as a nurse for two years but stopped because I have ti concentrate on my little eatery business and became “hand-on” mother to my daughters, became their carer and driver and other related chores relative to being a hands-on and stage mother.
I also got my short course of coooking, massage therapy, baking and caregiver with TESDA certificates.
I visited Australia, my first time was October 20, 2018 up to November 30, 2018 with Tourist VISA for 3months Single Entry. Just recently From December 14, 2018 up to January 11, 2019 with Tourist Visa for one year-multiple entry and will expire October 26, 2019.
I am looking for a job that would fit my qualifications and I prefer homebased like: cook, housekeeper , caregiver and caretaker. I am hardworking and trustworthy. -

Hi cleofe, I am searching for a live in Carer for my 68 year old father who had a stroke 2 weeks before Christmas last year. He is mobile on a wheels frame but needs a Carer who can shower and dress him, prepare and cook meals, general housekeeping and a driver for him if he needs to go to appointments or visit friends etc.. you would have your own room with a tv bedding etc and be paid a weekly wage. Rent and food are free and you would be provided with a car. Is this something you would be interested in?

Hello All.
Im looking for a live-in carer permeant basis on going for my two elderly grandparents who speak limited english (Serbian) but do understand both with Alzheimer's. They are mobile.
In Victoria area of Yarra Valley.
You would have your own room.
The help is needed over night my grandparents sleep all night but you would have bed alarm if they wake up just assisting them to toilet.
Also preparing and making dinners.
Must be okay with 2 small dogs and elderly cat.
Small weekly wage free living.
Must have experience with dementia. -

Currently working as caregiver ( Betavot - home for the aged ) in Palace Tel Aviv , Israel from February 2019 to present. Primary duties are address client respect and safety. Assist with their activities of daily living like bathing , walking , etc. Excellent knowlegde of emergency response and first aid. Good time management skills and aware of the dietary food intake of rhe client. Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
