Breaking Australian immigration news brought to you by Migration Alliance and associated bloggers.
Senator Michaelia Cash has released a press release today warning about dodgy migration agents. This is after the DIAC had the complaint since January 2012. Finally the government is listening and the new DIBP has dealt with it. The Migration Agents Section (MAS) at DIBP in Canberra have sent a copy of this release to Migration Alliance today. Special thanks is given to the Migration Agents Section for their timely communication and consultation with Migration Alliance.
Mirgation Alliance reported this on the 19/01/2012 during the time the organisation was called DIAC. This was during the Chris Bowen reign.
This was the email I personally sent to DIAC's MAS in Canberra about AUSFIS on 19 Janurary 2012:
Andrew

I got the same call from AustraliaGSM and gave my credit card details and unfortunately read this stuff too late. The transaction of 956 euros has been made to them. I called the bank but it was too late to stop the transaction. This is quite upsetting. Is there anyone who reached any certainties if they are a fraud or not?
Yeah the moment just before they used to call me from wich they got my number through facebook reg..first it was a lady taking and they connected to another guy from immigration head as they told..that moment itself am confused..and we conversated about 20 mins and next they asked my card details and i told i need verification, personally and they gave me 2 days time because its a limited offer as they told..so then i started searching about it and fuck that shit they cant rob me..they are fake..guys fuck them..
Hi all, I also get the same call from this AustraliaGSM, and gave them the card info too. The transaction been done right after the call and bank told me it cannot be stop already. Guys help me !! I try to call bank to investigate for me but until now still don't have any news from them.
What should i do ??
It's fake. Don't ever reveal your card details to them. They have two websites: australiagsm.com and canadianvisaexpert.com
