Some big changes have landed at Allianz Global Assistance, and on 16^th November 2020, Allianz Global Assistance commenced their rebrand to Allianz Care Australia.  These changes are a part of the International Health Transformation Project, which sees a major overhaul of systems and platforms as well as a transition to the global brand, Allianz Care.  The new transformation ensures Allianz Care can continue to be a progressive market leader and supports their strategy of becoming a truly global health partner.

Members with overseas student or overseas visitor health cover may have noticed the new branding in communications as well as updates to their member portal on the new Allianz Care Australia website. 

The new Allianz Care Australia website has an improved user-friendly design and a fresh look and feel.  Here members will still be able to find useful information to help during their stay in Australia, including:

• How to Find a doctor
• The telehealth service, powered by Doctors on Demand 
• Allianz Care Australia’s Blog – a library of articles covering health and lifestyle topics, including tips and practical advice.
• Plus so much more.

A new Referral Purchase Path

• Simplifying sales is the main focus with the new Allianz Care Australia referral purchase path, which features:
• Unique URLs for each agent
• Integrated calculations across all policy sales channels to support live data reporting
• Detailed reporting – using standardised and customisable templates
• Self-service policy purchase for students
• The ability to create a quote and  email it for purchase at a later date (within 14 days)
• Consistent calculations across all policy purchase channels

A fresh Partner Portal: OurHealth

This portal replaces the old Institution and Agent portal and provides easier policy maintenance and improved reporting.  It offers a better user experience through simplified navigation and processes.  Key features include:

• Visibility of all policies purchased through the Referral Purchase Path
• Greater policy management
• Access to monthly invoicing, which can be automatically sent to your nominated financial inbox

New Member Portal

Allianz Care Australia believes in the importance of easy access to medical and health services.  They have implemented some big improvements to deliver a new member portal, which allows members to:

• View health care documents (COI, digital membership card and guides) in one place (ONLY NEW POLICY HOLDERS)_
• Easily update contact details
• Purchase additional cover for a spouse or child
• Submit and track claims, as well as respond to further information requests
• Access additional online health services

Introducing the highly-rated Allianz MyHealth app

Allianz Care Australia is also excited to introduce the new Allianz MyHealth mobile app for Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) members.  The new app replaces the old MyOSHC mobile app and has some great new features, like a medical translator and a symptom checker.

New OSHC member policy numbers

New systems = new policy numbers. 

As part of the new system implementation, Allianz Care Australia issued all current OSHC policies with a new policy number via email.  They will need this to access the Allianz MyHealth portal and register for the app.

Members who do not know their new policy number can contact Allianz Care in Australia via phone on 13 67 42.
