VETASSESS are currently updating the VETASSESS website's resources with more information about skills assessment requirements for professional occupations.
As part of this process, they have recently added information about the specific documentation requirements for many of the professional occupations on the VETASSESS website. This includes information about qualification relevance for different occupations, as well as factors to consider, that differentiate one occupation from another, which may be helpful before you nominate an occupation for skills assessment.
Please visit the VETASSESS website for the latest eligibility criteria requirements and List of General Professional Occupations. Over the coming weeks VETASSESS will also be publishing new Occupation Information Sheets for many of the professional occupations we assess.
Please note that VETASSESS will no longer provide DAMA Skills Assessment Services for the following occupations: 231212 Ship’s Engineer and 421111 Child Care Worker.
The occupations will now be assessed by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) and the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and you can direct your enquiries and assessment requirements to these relevant bodies.
