Migration Alliance has received the following message from the AAT. We are able to extend this expression of interest to our members:
Expressions of interest are now open for the Administrative Appeals Tribunal’s (AAT) annual migration and refugee stakeholder forums. Deputy President Jan Redfern PSM will chair the forums in five locations across Australia. They will also feature presentations from other senior representatives of the AAT and the Immigration Assessment Authority (IAA).
These forums are a great opportunity for professionals with an interest in the migration and refugee area to come together to receive updates from the AAT and discuss caseload issues. They will be particularly useful for those who support applicants in the Migration and Refugee Division, the IAA and in relevant matters before the General Division.
The proposed dates for the 2019 forums are:

Complete the online form by 9 October 2019 to decline or register your interest in attending one of the forums. You can also use the form to nominate potential topics for discussion and to advise of accessibility or dietary requirements.
Please note there is limited space at these forums so invitations will be distributed when we are able to confirm arrangements.

Next steps
