RDA RIVERINA: REGIONAL NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE 2019-2020 PROGRAM YEAR

The following is displayed on the RDA Riverina website:

RDA-Riverina welcomes overseas skilled workers to apply for regional nomination. Skill shortages exist in many parts of Australia, in particular regional Australia, which allows RDA-Riverina to nominate skilled workers to come to the Riverina. This is just one way the organisation is committed to addressing skill shortages and to enhance business development in the region.

The long-term objective is to encourage these people to stay in the region. This visa is valid for up to four years and after two years of living in regional Australia, including at least 12 months full time working in regional Australia, the nominated skilled workers can then apply for a permanent resident visa.

New regional visas are being introduced in November 2019 “click here” to find out more. We will update our website to reflect these changes closer to November.

This visa is referred to as the Subclass 489 visa. Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to Skill Select

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION – RDA Riverina would like to hear from you if you have studied in the Riverina and are planning to settle or have genuine paid employment in the Riverina, which is related to your qualifications/nominated occupation. Please send an email to the Skilled Migration Officer attaching scanned documented evidence.
