If you suspect that a client’s TOEFL iBT^® test result is not legitimate, you can verify the scores by contacting ETS.

Here’s how it works: Send an email with a scanned copy of the test result along with your name, your organisation’s name and contact details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . 

You will be advised if:

• The scores are verified as being the same as in the ETS database
• The scores are on administrative hold
• The scores are not verified

If the scores are verified but you have concerns about their veracity, you can then request a score review.  Any information or evidence you have is useful for this score review.
