I work in the Public Relations team at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and I am contacting you today to inform you about a series of education sessions on tax obligations for foreign investors. We are running these sessions in response to community feedback, and would like to extend an invitation to any members of your association who would be interested.

These sessions will address recent changes to the Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers Act 1975. They would be of particular interest for investors or professional representatives involved in real estate or property development. ATO experts will be on hand to explain the key changes to foreign investment obligations. All sessions will be conducted in both English and Mandarin, while individual-focused meetings will also be conducted in Cantonese.
