Annual Report 2014-15

I am pleased to announce that the MRT - RRT Annual Report 2014-15 was presented to Parliament out-of-sitting on 26 October 2015. The annual report can be accessed from the ‘Resources’ tab on MRD website.

Particular areas of interest include a report from the President outlining the achievements over the year of the MRT-RRT and the contributions made by the former leadership and membership of the tribunals, as well as the establishment of the Immigration Assessment Authority and the amalgamation of the MRT-RRT on 1 July 2015 which became the Migration and Refugee Division of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT).

The report also provides an overview of the tribunals’ performance and operations from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015 prior to amalgamation.
