Guys, MA is a platform for us to stand united unlike other associations ! !
Lets not fight for a silly cause and keep cool and relax !
Well, its good that MA is promoting member RMA's .

Very good initiative by MA to have one RMA profile highlighted every week. I think it gets the word out for each one of us. Free marketing... what a great idea!! Let's not get jealous.. rather let's stick together to bring good reputation to industry. And keep it funny!!

    Cheers,

    Jag

"Women want him. Men want to BE him" Really? Are you serious?

    Not a great title.

It's a joke. British dry humour. It is a certain style of fun. No, not serious. Fun.

This has certainly livened up our existence - the lively debate was refreshing, especially on a Friday afternoon. The title certainly was a bit of an eye catcher - which was not only funny but creative. Good to see the human side.

Karola Steffi the cringe part of it is the part which is funny. The fact it is so inappropriate is funny. It's quite British the humour. If you are from a german background you might not think it is funny. But it is very funny. In England they call it 'taking the piss'.

This is a stupid conversation for this organisation. Focus on real issues for RMAs please. It makes us look like a bunch of amateurs. Fun is fun but in the right place and time.

Ian it doesn't seem so stupid to me. It seems this agent is getting new clients, this website is getting more reads and this story is making agents engage and some of them laugh. And it made you write something. What's so stupid about that? It is totally the right story. It's fantastic. Anything which brings readers to this site gives us all a better profile. It's not like it is porn for goodness sakes. What is wrong with our profession. It is cringe worthy but that is what makes it so good. Take it from me a girl. He looks funny but geeky funny trying to be sexy. Almost like a comic! Indian George Clooney agent like the other agent said. I could rave on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I guess we disagree. We want the Minister and others to take us seriously. But i am just one opinion.

We want them to get real, get off their high horse. A lot of agents used to work in the DIBP. Used to. For a reason. Don't forget they are just the government. Nothing more. Second rate public servants who would not survive in the outside world.

Seems as though you should also get of your high horse ; "second rate public servants who would not survive in the outside world" - relax.

Victoria, the truth is a lot of DIBP and public servants in general are second-rate performers. Otherwise they would be working in private enterprise, getting paid more and helping improve our world at the same time. Instead they choose the safe and easy road of a public service job with the safe super and the safe income. With safety comes protectionist policy. Also you should learn to spell. It is 'off'. Not 'of'. I take it you are a public servant due to your lack of attention to detail or care for your work. If someone chooses to work in a sheltered workshop (DIBP) then they need to cop the flack for that very ordinary choice. Bureaucrats are not at all sexy. As in....NOT!

What's with the judgemental attitude? from your posts it's obvious how arrogant and immature you actually are. yes I may have typed of instead of off , however English is not my first language. And No I don't work for DIBP - I am in fact a RMA. I just don't see how degrading any position is considered ok with you. What a waste of time it was signing up to MA.

Could it be "Men want him" and "women to BE him"?
First thought 'here's another crook', put in a sarcastic way. Similar to other crooks MA have so far denounced.
Will it be a courtesy payback from this RMA to the promoter? And life goes on, and on, and on?
