Improved support for clients using ImmiAccount

Migration Alliance has been asked to provide members with the following information from the DIBP's Visa and Citizenship Helpdesk Section:

Today the Department of Immigration and Border Protection are releasing on the department’s website:

·         a revised ImmiAccount support page (this will be available later today at: http://www.immi.gov.au/Services/Pages/immiaccount.aspx):
This is a single web page from which agents can access more succinct and useful information about ImmiAccount via a number of
‘tabs’ – including improved Quick Reference Guides, clearer guidance on attaching documents and a list of common online error messages to assist agent’s to self-serve before seeking assistance from the department.

·         a new ImmiAccount Technical Support Form (available at: https://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/immiaccount/technical-support-form/):
This form can be used by individuals, agents and organisations to make an enquiry/raise an issue in regards to their ImmiAccount or online application. It will help ensure that the eServices team receive the information they need in order to provide a timely response to ImmiAccount queries. It will also facilitate improved prioritisation of incoming queries. Note: this form will replace the existing Technical Support Form on the Agents Gateway.

Note: form is actually already live but the new support pages won’t be published until later today.

How can I attach documents to my citizenship application? A Telstra "help" person tried last night for over an hour to help . Each time she transferred a scanned copy of a required document it registered a red NO GO tower.
