Migration Alliance Launches Partnership with Foreign Exchange Provider TorFX for RMAs

Migration Alliance, the leading Australian membership organisation for registered migration agents  have introduced a new partnership service with award winning Foreign Exchange and Money Transfer Specialist, TorFX.

All 4,200+ of Migration Alliance members have access to a directory of third party professional services promoted through their membership, which includes private health insurance, real estate, education and now with TorFX, foreign exchange.

TorFX have been established in the UK since 2004 and have become a recognised provider across the emigration market for clients migrating to Australia and New Zealand. Last year they opened their first Australian office to cater for the growing demand for their services across The Asia Pacific.

Regulated in Australia under ASIC and AUSTRAC, TorFX provide a financial service for international money transfers and foreign exchange;  they are perceived by increasing numbers of savvy clients as a preferable alternative to the banks, since they offer more competitive currency exchange rates and a more customer-focused experience.

This partnership will enable Migration Alliance members to introduce the services of TorFX when invoicing clients overseas who pay in currencies other than A$ for their migration services.  This removes the risk of receiving a poor exchange rate, bank fees and credit card charges and can ensure swifter payments than the banks to migration agents awaiting their funds.

More importantly for the end client of the Migration Agent is that as a large volume money transfer specialist, TorFX can save substantial amounts of money when transferring any lump sum savings, purchasing properties (either for relocating or as an investment), repatriating funds after their move or paying business invoices that require being paid in foreign currency.

Liana Allan, Founder of Migration Alliance said 'This represents an outstanding opportunity for RMAs to refer their clients to a reputable foreign exchange and money transfer specialist, TorFX. It is also a brilliant opportunity for RMAs to earn referral fees whilst at the same time saving their clients money’.

TorFX Business Development Manager Ian Cragg added ‘By providing more competitive exchange rates than the banks around the world, TorFX can ensure a far better return in Australian Dollars for clients relocating here which can provide them with a great financial head start for their new life Australia. We believe that such an offering can add significant value to the fantastic service that Migration Alliance members currently offer to those wishing to migrate to Australia’
