Clients receive death threats, no visa, no job and no refund
Update 29 /11/2016 - URGENT NEWS: Edward Kang convicted of 21 counts of fraud at Parramatta Local Court, on bail and due to be sentenced on or about 20 March 2017. Apparently fair trading will be publishing something in their website in the next hour or so.

None of the Migration Agents listed on the above advertisment (see below for list) have stated on their OMARA profiles that they are linked in any way to Singapore Oil or Borderless Globe:

The advertisment goes on to say 'We have 20 years in experience in industry, and at our office many lawyers and RMAs are working as in-house, salary based mostly. MARN numbers will be given upon request.'
I have checked all these agents out and found their MARNs and none of their MARNs link to this business.

International Students are allegedly being promised an Australian 457 visa and paying huge sums of money only to discover they have been completely conned.
There are companies that currently have operations in Australia but where the head office and the location of the mother-company is offshore.
Karl Konrad and his business has been contacted for months regarding clients of Singapore Oil Pte Ltd looking for a professional solution to a complex and sad situation where they have paid sums such as $20,000 deposit for a 457 visa.
Migration Alliance has been informed that Migration Agents have also been victims of Mr Kang and used as pawns. I just got the news from someone who worked at the Singaporeoil that the Department raided Mr Kangs office today and shut his place down.
I am not sure whether he got charged and arrested, but we will find out soon.

Dear Karl
I was forwarded an article regarding Mr Kang. I really feel for all those people who have paid him.
Well i am also going through a similar situation.I have been ripped off twice in the name of a visa.
Firstly a person posed as a migration agent and promised me a 457.instead of lodging an application for 457 he lodged a 485.When i inquired he said it's a pathway to 457.Well my file came into processing and visa got refused.Lodged application with MRT had a refusal there as well.Now my case is currently with the Minister.Really don't know what going to happen to my future.Just for trusting someone my whole life has a dark path ahead of me .The most ridiculous part is this person is running a consultancy business in Melbourne and his website is a big fake.
Then met another firm in Melbourne who does trading under the name of clinica.com.au.Its founder is Mr Radovan Laski(Professional Conman).He had promised me that he can get me a visa under RSMS. He was charging around $30,000.Well down the track he said rules are changing and advised that we ll take up a CET III& IV in Asset Maintenance(Cleaning Operations).It was a months course and we were promised a guaranteed employment leading to residency.His manager even went a step further stating that he had a document signed by then PM Julia Gillard and that would work wonders work us.
Something didnt seem right to me and starting doing few investigations and came to light that we cant be eligible for RSMS.I requested for a refund on the contrary i was told legal action would be taken against me.
I was left with no option to lodge a complaint against him.I filed a complaint with Police,Consumer Affairs Victoria,Immigration,Scam watch,Crime Stoppers,then Opp leader Mr Tony Abbot,a local MP and lastly even wrote a letter to then Hon PM Ms Julia Gillard.
I received a response from the Premiers Office in Victoria stating that this information has been passed onto the PM's office so i contact them directly for further progress.
Later received an email from DIAC Sydney from an Officer in relation to the letter i had written to the PM requesting for more information.Still awaiting a response from this officer.
Later this conman was busted by the media couple of months back.He has cheated close to 150 students.Money ranging from $5000-$45000.

Dont get me wrong i feel somewhere down the track Immigration needs to be blamed.The keep changing rules and people like us need to resort to such people.
What more steps should i take now?Any suggestions?

Thank you for the information. I will raise this with the DIBP investigators to see if any action has been taken in relation to this matter. It will certainly add to the more pressing issue of why DIBP has done nothing up until now in relation to Mr. Kang's case.

The link has his office address at North Sydney. When I did my research, i found out he had about 5 registered agents working for him. Mainly new graduates or new migration agents.
He also used to advertise positions vacant for various occupations through the use of the Gumtree service. -

Hi all, I have read all articles you people here put on. I feel like this is typical mental hospital mono drama where some insane people need some treatment. This is simply so sad thing. hunches upon hunches, inference upon inference, all fictitious suspicions and again hallucination-like allegations. It did not take even one hour to distort one person's honest life into criminal. you sick people. From one of Eddie's client - his big supporter. (Eddie told me that defamation proceeding to many different parties and entities are imminent - we are all excited!!!)
