Richard Johnson, Assistant Secretary and Delegate for the Minister of Immigration and Citizenship has announced a change to the Medical Treatment visa address and fax number by Legislative Instrument.
The Instrument is to specifes, for Medical Treatment (Subclass 602), that for the purpose of submitting these visa applications made onshore (inside) Australia, the addresses for posted applications and applications delivered by courier or transmitted by fax have changed.
An additional fax number has been added as per below details.
Subparagraphs 1214A(3)(a)(i), 1214A(3)(a)(ii) and 1214A(3)(a)(iii) provide that an application for a Medical Treatment (Subclass 602) visa made onshore or in Australia must be made by posting the application (with the correct pre-paid postage) to the post office address specified, deliver by courier service to the address specified or by faxing the application to the fax number specified in the Instrument.

Is it planned by the Department, that it will be possible to do an e-lodgement of this visa? I could not see it on the current list of visa types, yet the Department claims that all types (except for a couple) will be enabled. Could you please enquire and let us know? Thank you
