Understanding which health insurance product to recommend to your clients is an important role of any Migration Agent.  Visa applicants rely on your advice to make life-impacting decisions. Knowing when to recommend Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC) and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is important. There are important differences between the two products. 

Different visa types have different health insurance requirements. Invitations for State nomination are usually issued on the third Thursday of each month. This will be brought forward by one week in August due to the transition from visa 489 to 491. Further information regarding the transitional arrangements will be published shortly. Invitations are anticipated to be issued by 9 August 2019.
